You are asked to register all the time...and end up with a ton of junkmail
Here´s an interesting way around that.
You are asked for your email address everywhere. ABCsoftware, a forum, a chatsite or whoever says they need your email address to send the activation code or whatever...give them this:
xyz@mail-junk.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  (xyz is whatever made up name you want to use)
Then you go to www.mail-junk.com and check the mail - and bingo, a mailbox opens and there is your email from ABC software.

Your benefit: Avoid spammails in the future!

...and it is anonymous...safe.

HOW???
Our mailbox is a "catch all" mailbox. That means, that everything that is send to [something] @ mail-junk.com is caught and can be viewed in our mailbox.

Signup to a forum or a chatsite without giving out your email address. Avoid spammails.

If you need to sign up for a chat page or forum, you can use an email address from mail-junk.com like it's your own mailaddress. You give e.g. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it as mail address to which the forum/chat shall send a confirmation mail.
Then you go on our side
mail junk.comand check what's in your mailbox. You log in to your mail-junk.com mailbox with no password at all. Our mailbox serves as a "catch all" email account, so it catches everything that is sent to [something] @ mail junk.com

But hey - does it mean something that everyone can see your mail. It is only a confirmation email with a link you must click, to activate an account somewhere.

The mailbox is emtied once every 48 hours.

All in all: Avoid spammails
